Enhance public awareness of civil engineering profession and increase public awareness.younger member forum (ymf) program - mission is to advance civil engineering and to serve as a resource for young engineers and engineering students. Activities include outreach, community service, professional development, social activities, and other activities.outstanding civil engineering achievement (ocea) awards banquet - the program honors the best and brightest achievements within the local engineering industry. Awards are given to those projects that demonstrate innovative and outstanding civil engineering accomplishments by hawaii's design and construction professionals.
