Mission
To advance education, research, and the quality of clinical practice in the fields of aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery specializing in the face, orbits, eyelids, and lacrimal system.

The fall scientific symposium is open to all interested physicians and related health care personnel and attracts surgeon members, otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, facial plastic surgeons,dermatologic surgeons as well as general ophthalmologists. Roughly 50% of the meeting attendees are nonmembers, with the majority being general ophthalmologists. The meeting is also well attended byphysicians in training, mostly in oculofacial plastic surgery fellowship programs. This cme meeting is developed to include different educational formats, including breakouts, invited speakers, expert panels and abstract presentations.
Asoprs supports a wide range of committee-led and volunteer-supported initiatives that are essential to the society's governance, member engagement, and professional activities. With over 200 volunteer positions contributing across areas such as examination development, education oversight, external representation, and board functions, a significant portion of the budget is allocated to sustaining these operations and ensuring continuity across the society's work.
