American Water Works Association

Education - The association coordinates certification schools and various seminars and special educational programs (13 schools and 22 seminars/special programs in 2024) during the course of the year to provide continuing education on water and wastewater topics for operators and engineers. They also serve to enhance member awareness of issues related to the industry and encourage networking. Schools meet state-mandated education requirements for professionals to sit for state operator examinations.

Networking - The association hosts a variety of networking events throughout the year (24 in 2024) designed to help members connect with others in the industry.
