Mission

Through youth and adult camp and conference programs, AYF inspires people to discover their leadership potential, develop their strengths, seek balance in mental, physical, social and spiritual living, and make a positive difference in their communities and the wider world

Programs

3 programs

Summer Camps: (812 participants) AYF summer camps invite young people ages 8-17 to new experiences designed to develop a deeper understanding of who they are and what they are capable of achieving. Participants are encouraged to discover and develop their own best selves and to seek balance by growing through four complimentary facets of life. Youth develop leadership skills and explore new outdoor adventure activities that spark growth. They return home ready to make a positive difference in their communities and the world around them. Overnight programs in Michigan and New Hampshire range in length from one to five weeks.

Expenses: $2.6M

Summer Conferences: (184 participants) The National Leadership Conference creates confident leaders equipped to make a positive impact on our ever-changing world. This week-long, overnight program brings together high school and college students from diverse backgrounds, providing them with the opportunity to develop, practice and implement leadership skills that will play an essential role throughout the rest of their lives.

Expenses: $149K

Program service fees and operation and facility costs not allocated to above programs.
