Mission
Originally in operation during the 1980s and 1990s, americans for a balanced budget (abb) was re-founded in 2009 in response to the reckless fiscal policies of the big-spending, out-of-control politicians in washington, d.c. With the national debt soaring past 30 trillion dollars, it is clear to millions of americans that this massive debt is our greatest national security risk in the 21st century. Abb provides a voice for american taxpayers who believe the united states must get its spending under control in order to survive and prosper. Abb is an effective advocacy organization working toward a balanced budget amendment, a modernized tax code and other common sense policy objectives which will help america get its fiscal house in order.
