Mission

The Amore Opera Company entertains, educates and nurtures music appreciation in youth, seniors and community members through live performances of classical and overlooked operas. Its performances are affordable to all audience segments. Amore also supports the creative development of artists by providing a venue for singers and musicians without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or age. Amore's overarching goals are to (1) provide complete, well-known 18th and 19th-century operas in a unique, intimate setting; (2) provide training and performance opportunities to amateur and aspiring opera singers; (3) introduce children to opera and cultivate them to become active audience members or performers.
