Mission

Amplifier Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to amplify the most important movements of our time. Amplifier's goal is to flip artists into activists and observers into participants.

Programs

3 programs

Fellowship: Amplifier launched a fellowship and grant program for photographers and photo-based artists ahead of the 2024 U.S. Presidential election. The program addresses threats to democracy, including voter disenfranchisement, intimidation, manipulation, misinformation, and disinformation campaigns, while highlighting systemic racism and inequity. Through their projects, our fellows and grantees raise awareness of these challenges, encouraging civic engagement and social change.

Expenses: $230K

Revolutionary Love: Amplifier partnered with author and activist Valarie Kaur and the Revolutionary Love Project to bring the 2024 Revolutionary Love Tour to life, a national cultural initiative encouraging compassion, courage, and collective healing. Through original artwork, storytelling tools, and public art installations, we helped communities practice ?revolutionary love? as a force for social change. The tour reached millions across the United States, offering immersive experiences that fostered connection across lines of difference.

Expenses: $115K

Native Vote: In partnership with IllumiNative and Natives Vote, Amplifier created a nationwide public art and storytelling campaign to support Indigenous voter engagement during the 2024 election season. We commissioned Indigenous artists, produced culturally responsive educational tools, and provided communications support to grassroots organizations working in key states where Native communities face structural barriers to voting. The campaign distributed over 10,000 physical artworks, supported more than 25 community events, and reached millions through digital and public installations to elevate Native voices and protect voting rights.
