Mission

The mission of AmPowering is to be a catalyst to enable vulnerable communities to enhance & develop their quality of life by creating opportunities encompassing educational, socio-economic and behavioral transformations. We are committed to empowering women, youth and enriching families and transforming communities.

Programs

Arts & Culture: AmPowering celebrated culture and community through landmark events such as North America Fashion Week, Festival of Light & Joy With Garba, the Grand Diwali Ball, and the Festival of Color. These events promoted cultural inclusion, artisan craftsmanship, and small-business engagement while showcasing the diversity of the South Asian community. The City of Renton invited AmPowering to host some of these festivals to foster cultural tourism, economic activity, and community connection. Collectively, these programs drew thousands of participants and strengthened AmPowering's role as a leading promoter of multicultural arts and diversity in the region. Each program also served as a fundraising event for AmPowering, while fulfilling the vision & mission of AmPowering. Global Women Festival felicitates several women and is known for being an inspiring event for many.

Women Empowerment & Community Development: AmPowering hosted the Global Women Festival 2024 and associated leadership awards and pageants in the City of Renton, attended by over 2,000 people. Through the EmPower Up initiative, AmPowering helps women earn with dignity. AmPowering supported the Dehaat Program, focused on empowering rural women and improving access to education, nutrition, and economic opportunity. Together, these initiatives advanced AmPowering's mission to uplift underserved communities through compassion, equity, and empowerment-serving thousands globally with dignity and sustainable impact.
