The Anacortes Arts Festival hosts a series of events throughour the year that are a fundraiser for art in Anacortes. Every year there are different events that include concerts, art shows, treasure hunt and a color run. Through this series of events, the Festival funds things such as Local Artists in Schools, theatre field trips, musical performances in schools and art supplies.
Buxton Arts Center is a building rented by Anacortes Arts Festival to provide space for local artists to rent space, a venue for event rentals, and art classes to offered to the public.
