To protect and restore the Anacostia River for all those who live work and play in the watershed.

Managed several in-stream litter-capturing bandalong litter traps. The bandalong traps capture floating litter in the Anacostia River preventing it from contributing to pollution. The bandalong traps infrastructure and serve as an educational tool and green job generator for the community.
Responded to citizen complaints about pollution in the Anacostia watershed as well as provided opportunity to clean up trash and other debris from the river and its tributaries.
