Committees: multiple venues for recognition in business and community involvement. Gold pan awards, since 1957 anchorage's no. 1 premier business recognition event, awarded to those that have shown business and entrepreneurial excellence with a loyal commitment to anchorage through community service. Anchorage athena society is a program that works year round to encourage the potential of all women as leaders of the business community. Since 1995 the society has nearly 400 inductees with approximately 500 guests attending the annual induction luncheon. The anchorage young professionals (yp) group founded in 2014 is the largest yp group in alaska, with over 400 engaged members. Meetings, social, and service content for all levels of employees and professionals across all industries. The annual yp summit, alaska's largest, brings 200+ attendees together for 2 days of immersive sessions presented by local leaders sharing knowledge to elevate the rising generation.
