Mission

Freemasonry ("Masonry") is the world's oldest and largest fraternal organization open to men of 18 years old or older of any color, any religion, nationality or social standing; the only requirement is a belief in a Supreme Being. The body of knowledge and system of ethics of Masonry is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, faith, country, and Fraternity. Masonry enhances and strengthens the character of the individual man by providing opportunities for fellowship, charity, education, and leadership. Fairfax Lodge No. 43 in Culpeper, Virginia was chartered November 27, 1794 and owns and maintains the temple in which it holds regular communications to promote the belief that each man has a responsibility to help make the world a better place, and to welcome any visiting Brother. Through our culture of philanthropy, we make a profound difference for our Brothers, our families, our communities, and our future.
