The Anderson County Community Council is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the IRS code of 1986as amended and the regulations promulgated there under. To promote the appreciation and preservation of the history and culture of the old Lincoln and A M Story High Schools and to provide educational opportunities to graduating high school seniors in Anderson County. To gather, preserve, display, and make available for observation and study artifacts, relics, books, manuscripts, papers, and other records and materials relating to the history of the Lincoln A M Story communities in the City of Palestine TX. Erect a Community Center to house these items.
