Arizona's Children Association - Angel Charity awarded $75,000 to restore the position of the Crisis Clinician at the Arizona Child Advocacy Center (CAC). The Crisis Clinician is a licensed mental health professional specifically trained to support children who are victims of sexual abuse and trauma. The Crisis Clinician utilizes trauma-informed evidence-based best practices to ensure the children undergoing the investigative process for reported abuse are supported by a compassionate and specially trained professional.

Junior League of Tucson - Angel Charity awarded $67,600 to renovate the existing garage at the Junior League to create a year-round, permanent location for Cinderella's Closet. Cinderella's Closet provides teens with free attire, accessories, and shoes for semi-formal or formal events so they can confidently attend school events like dances, proms and award ceremonies, and personal events like weddings and quinceaneras.

Tucson Medical Center Foundation - Angel Charity awarded $65,000 to establish a multi-sensory room within the pediatric unit to address the needs of the neurodiverse pediatric patients. By providing this dedicated space, the pediatric patient and the care team will have the tools and environment to support the patient's sensory seeking or sensory de-escalation needs while simultaneously helping to achieve the patient's goals for health and healing.Tucson Community Tennis Program - Angel Charity awarded $52,000 to expand the in-school tennis instruction program in the Sunnyside School District, increase the transportation budget for U of A field trips for the students participating in this program, install a water fountain/filling station at the Pueblo High School courts and increase the summer camp at Pueblo High School to 4 days a week and 2.5 hours daily. All programs are free, and all equipment is provided.Fox Tucson Theater Foundation - Angel Charity awarded $32,500 to provide the school based "Hocus Focus" residency program designed specifically for youth with autism. The program culminates in two autism-friendly school matinee performances plus a public "Magic on the Stage" show by Dr. Kevin Spencer, a nationally recognized leader in performance and education for youth with autism.Wheel Fun - Angel Charity awarded $21,000 to create six after-school Hubs serving grades 4-8 at select schools in the Amphitheater, Marana, Sahuarita, Tanque Verde and Vail School Districts beginning in the Fall 2024 Semester. Wheel Fun will provide schools with a turnkey cycling program consisting of age-appropriate mountain bikes, helmets, hydration packs, floor pump, curriculum, and training.
