Studio artists: the center's 50 artist studios provide an inclusive space for artists to immerse themselves in and grow their practice, and to share their art with others, at a rental rate well below the current median. Angels gate cultural center currently provides professional work-studio space for 52 artists, including musicians, ceramists, painters, sculptors, writers, photographers, printmakers and jewelers. Agcc hosts two open studios days during which all studio artists open their doors and invite the community to tour their workspace, discuss their work and art process, giving the public a unique inside look at what it means to be a working artist. The studio artist program is one of the largest of its kind in the la area.

Exhibitions: our program focuses on investigating contemporary art through a diverse array of artistic practices, cultures, media, and innovation in our 3,000 square foot gallery. We provide opportunities for curators to examine new ideas surrounding notions of community and the marginalized in addition to conceptual explorations of art. Agcc exhibits a diverse range of emerging, midcareer, and established artists who create locally and nationally and presented ten exhibitions during fy23-24. Finally, we strongly value the importance of compensating both curators and artists in our efforts to support the vibrancy of our shared creative culture. To respond to the challenge of limited physical access to art spaces, agcc offers virtual gallery tours for our exhibitions made publicly available online. These self-guided, interactive tours allow the viewer to engage with the art as it exists in the gallery, with 360-degree closeup perspectives in addition to wide angle views of the art in its spatial context. In 2023, the center's gallery served a total of 14,439 community members virtually and on site.
