Mission

Angels of action plan to ensure that no elementary school child (k-5) on the free or reduced lunch program in mecosta county goes hungry on weekends during the school year by supplying backpacks (backpack blessings) filled with enough nutritious food to sustain the child for that duration. We understand and believe there is a direct link between sound nutrition intake and the ability to absorb and retain information that results in positive school performance and a healthy sense of well-being.
