To aid lost and unwanted pets, help people with pet-related problems, promote responsible pet ownership and pet population control and prevent cruelty to animals through educational programs.

Pet Aid: Provides financial assistance to low-income, elderly & disabled pet owners who need help with transportation, emergency veterinary fees, emergency pet food supplies and routine care.
Help line: Hot line for tracking & returning lost & Found animals & dispensing educational material to pet owners. Counsels low income pet owners on how to raise funds to pay vet bills. If funds available, AALOC will pledge some amounts to help cover vet expenses. Assists low income pet owners with spay/neuter expenses.
