Promote and advance the scientific study of animal behavior, and creating an inclusive scientific environment that supports a diverse membership.

Collaborated with the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour to publish Animal Behaviour. First published in 1953, Animal Behaviour is a leading international publication and has wide appeal, containing critical reviews, original papers, and research articles on all aspects of animal behaviour. Book Reviews and Books Received sections are also included.
Provided student research grants to 58 individuals to graduate students based on a clear conceptual context and theoretical rationale provided in the applications(reviewers will assess proposals for conceptual significance and intellectual merit)
The animal behavior community is committed to providing a safe, productive and welcoming environment for all meeting participants and staff.
