INVESTIGATIONS - In 2024 Animal Equality presented 12 unique investigations filmed across our eight member countries. Shocking images of pig workers kicking, punching and stabbing piglets to death on a German pig farm were featured on one of the countries most respected news programs. Pigs at an Italian slaughterhouse were filmed standing, walking and gasping for breath after having their throats cut in violation of Italian cruelty laws. In India cows kept for milk production were documented being killed in open air markets after being dragged to the ground, bound and having their throats cut. In the United States two investigations were carried out one of which was later released in 2025. Animal Equality has spent considerable time developing professional standards for evidence management and analysis submitting our findings for veterinary, legal and legislative review in an ever expanding global capacity.
