Fostering a caring community for animals by providing shelter, advancing animal welfare, and promoting the bonds between animals and humans through innovative programs, education and service.
Programs

Education & outreach: improved animal welfare through humane education. During the fiscal year: eight education courses for children entering grades one through six were offered during school breaks. High school leadership groups,businesses, civic groups and community leaders toured our facility,resulting in increased knowledge of appropriate animal treatment. Over 625 volunteers with a cumulative of 2,516 hours of service were educated on caring for our adoptable animals while in their temporary home at our center.
