Animal Lovers League Inc

The animal lovers league safe haven program has expanded outreach to the town of islip population 377,000 animal shelter. The town has a very large percentage of residents who live at or below the poverty level. We have co-funded and also trained volunteers to provide free spay-neuter services to the town where none existed, beginning in dec. 2016. Thanks to our program 1531 animals will not be breeding and adding to the population of unwanted and homeless pet. Safe haven also funds medical care and sends food for the pets of residents, most often elderly, who have difficulty providing enough for themselves and their pets.
