The Organization's most significant activities are to strengthen Washtenaw and Southern Livingston County communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs and services.

4b. HEALTHY LIVING: Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It's about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind, and body. At the Ann Arbor Y, we are committed to empowering people of all ages to lead fuller lives and to strengthening community. We provide both in person and virtual services that promote physical and mental wellness, reduce the risk of obesity and disease and help people reclaim their health. In 2024, our healthy living facility served 10,242 members. 3,340 members were aged 0-17, 5,823 members were aged 18-64 and 1,074 members were aged 65+.

4c. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: The Ann Arbor Y is an association made up of people from every walk of life, working side by side to strengthen communities. Together we strive to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live life to the fullest. In 2024, we provided $268,715 in membership scholarships for over 1,200 individuals, $182,150 financial assistance dollars for youth summer camp and $79,218 in program scholarships so that no one would be turned away due to an inability to pay for any of our fee-based programs and services.
