Anova family services supported churches and community organizations in teaching, counselling, conducting marriages and funerals for the local south asian community. Anova conducted or participated in several funerals for the south asian community in the u.s. And abroad.

Anova family services supported educating church leaders amd lay members with relationship issues and mental health information. The persistent challenges that sri lanka have faced has created deep fissures in the emotional lives of sri lankans.

The island experienced many traumatic events such as the civil war that lasted for 25 years and the tsunami that took lives of thousands of adults and children that has created the need for mental health services to the island community. Anova family services provided a week long intensive program to gradute students at the university of colombo in psychology as requested by the university administration in june of 2024.
