The corporation is organized for the public purpose of assisting peace officers, their dependents, and survivors of peace officers by providing financial assistance and making other charitable donations.

The parent or guardian must be an active or retired member of the association of orange county deputy sheriffs, and the recipients must be enrolled in an accredited college by september with a minimum of 12 units.
The fund sponsors a pipe & drum band and a memorial store for the benefit of all members.
