Parent Training and Information Center (PTI), funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Throughout this project we provide orientation, support, and training on special education laws and procedures, to parents of children with disabilities and the professionals that intervene with them via phone calls, in-house visits, mail, and emails. From October 2023 to September 2024, we served a total of 5,276 families and professionals throughout the Island.

Psycho-emotional support for families of children and young people with disabilities (subsidized by Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds of the Financial Advisory Authority of the Puerto Rico Fiscal Agency AFFAF. Through this project we offer psycho-emotional support and training on topics related to families of children and young people with disabilities and the community in general, providing them with tools for managing emotions -stress, fear, anxiety, health, among others. Psychotherapeutic services are offered individually and in groups. 2023-2024

Project Name: Puerto Rico Center for the Deafblind (APNI), funded by the U.S. Department of Education -Through this project, we provide support and technical assistance to families and service providers of deafblind students. We also collaborate with the National Center on Deaf blindness, the Helen Keller National Center, and the Puerto Rico Department of Education. (2023-2024) Project Name: Salary Incentives from Law 52 of the PR Department of Labor and Human Resources DTRH) - These funds are requested to complete maintenance positions in the administrative area and newly created positions in the organization. Project Name: The Early Childhood Services Systems Support Network (Learning Community), funded by the PR Department of the Family (ACUDEN). Its purpose is to attend and ensure access to early childhood services. This project is created to support early childhood service systems and strengthen resilience in children, families, and communities, with which we intend to attend to the early identification of children with special needs. As part of this project, a monitoring system for the development of children 0-5 years of age and a referral system for programs and agencies that serve early childhood, and their families will be maintained. In addition, as part of this initiative, APNI created a Learning Community where, together with representatives of agencies and programs, we discuss and establish strategies that allow us to meet the needs of children and their families. Project Name: The importance of early identification in children with loss hearing/deaf, funded by HRSA throughout the PR Department of Health. This project aims to identify children with hearing loss/deaf. We guide and train families on services available and how to access them. In addition, we train service providers in everything related to the needs of children with hearing loss/deaf. From October 2023 to September 2024 throughout this project we served a total of 268 families and service providers. Project Name: Respite Care Services, funded by Direct Relief Foundation -Through this project we offer specialized care services to children and young people with significant disabilities in hospitals and at home so that these families can have time to attend to situations. What allows these families time for self-care, release stress and attend medical appointments. It also helps prevent emotional burden, social isolation, and anxiety from being the only 24/7 caregiver. From October 2023 to September 2024, throughout this project we served a total of 69 families. Project Name: APNI takes care of you, subsidized by the Ángel Ramos Foundation (FAR). Through this project, we provide support and basic needs to children and young people with disabilities and hospitalized elderly people, while also creating employment opportunities for two young people with disabilities. Project Name: Puerto Rico Government Resolutions provides funds to cover administrative expenses. Project Name: Global Giving. Support for programs and operations that have been affected by and/or are responding to the impacts of COVID-19 in the context of Hurricane Maria recovery. Project Name: Legislative Grant. The grant is provided by the government of the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and keeps several positions of trainers to families and administrative positions. It also offers a recreational summer program for children and youth with significant disabilities. The fund is also used to cover administrative expenses not covered by other funds and a quarterly report must be made to the legislative body to ensure the proper utilization of the funds as per budget approval. Project Name: Miscellaneous Support and Donations. These are used for miscellaneous projects and needs not covered by the described programs, any restrictions imposed by the donors and grantors are considered when determining the specific use of the funds.
