Apollo's recordings and films continued to garner national and international recognition. Trace of time, released on grammy-winning azica records, featured newly commissioned works by composers adolphus hailstork, hector del curto, and julia smith and was broadcast widely. Apollo's documentary film, moonshot: the remarkable journey of apollo chamber players, remained available for streaming on amazon prime video and tubi. Radio features on sirius xm, american public media's performance today, and international outlets reached millions of listeners.

Apollo commissioned fifteen new works from composers of diverse backgrounds and traditions, expanding the string quartet repertoire with culturally rich, socially relevant compositions. Featured artists included afghan composer homayoun sakhi, iranian-born percussionist pejman hadadi, and composers mark buller, dj spooky (paul miller), erberk erylmaz, and allison loggins-hull. Apollo continued national touring with appearances at concordia university in fargo, nd and epic chamber music in colorado springs, co. The ensemble also maintained collaborations with houston-based arts organizations such as houston chamber choir, houston ballet, and castle of our skins.
