Other accomplishments of the organization include promoting legislation and speaking for members in regards to legislative action concerning general health and welfare programs, promoting and protecting the professional and economic status and general welfare of its' members. The organization responds to the needs of members in a rapidly changing health care environment by providing and promoting leadership in developing and advancing the interests of the profession.
