See schedule o for the foundation's mission.the aquatic capital of america foundation's mission is to promote the myriad of aquatic activities offered in long beach, california; to recognize, honor and support the city of long beach and its aquatic athletes, coaches and organizations; and to promote water safety and education. The foundation also supports community and regional efforts to cleanse local waterways as well as to increase the number of local aquatic facilities.
Programs

Waterproof our youth program: the organization provided free swim lessons for over 300 ubderserved children from the community. The program is designed to improve the safety of youths in and around water and reduce the likelihood of injury or death from water related activities.
Other program services include support to the long beach gives campaign, scholarships to various students recognized by coaches and teachers for outstanding accomplishments in aquatic endeavors, and support to local aquatic programs.
