Resiliency Pathways is a trauma-informed wellness program developed by Arabella Wellness Center to support women veterans experiencing chronic stress, burnout, and life transitions. Rooted in restorative leadership and communal care, the program integrates mental health education, restorative movement, peer support frameworks, and emotional regulation tools. In 2024, Arabella completed the research, design, and internal evaluation of a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the lived experiences of women veterans. Modules include nervous system literacy, breathwork, trauma response, and community-rooted resilience strategies. While the program was not delivered to participants during the reporting period, its development laid the foundation for future implementation and partnership. Expenses incurred during 2024 totaled $1,671, allocated from salaries and wages for curriculum development. No revenue or grants to others were recognized under modified accrual accounting for this program during the reporting period.
The Qavah Circle is a perinatal wellness program developed by Arabella Wellness Center to support women navigating pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. Rooted in the Hebrew concept of "Qavah," meaning to wait with hope and tension, the program offers holistic, trauma-informed care that honors the emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions of perinatal transition. In 2024, Arabella completed development of the full Qavah Circle curriculum, including modules on emotional regulation, body literacy, trauma-informed peer support, and community-rooted healing practices. While the full curriculum was not yet delivered during the reporting period, Arabella implemented the program's restorative bodywork component, serving five women with individualized care. These sessions provided trauma-informed touch therapy, breathwork, and somatic support to address stress, anxiety, and physical discomfort. Expenses incurred during 2024 totaled $6,329, allocated from salaries and wages for curriculum development and delivery of restorative bodywork. Revenue of $125 was recognized under modified accrual accounting for services provided to perinatal participants. No grants to others were issued for this program during the reporting period.
Arabella Wellness Center formalized board governance procedures to ensure transparent oversight and ethical stewardship. During the reporting period, the organization documented voting authority, clarified compensation processes, and implemented conflict-of-interest safeguards. These updates were reviewed and adopted by the board and align with IRS and nonprofit best practices.
To improve access to services and increase community engagement, Arabella invested in a redesigned website, branded outreach materials, and professional photography. The updated infrastructure contributed to increased visibility and program participation.
