HONORARIUM: Leading artists are brought from India and other countries and also from several cities to perform South Indian classical music and dance, during the annual music and dance festival in Cleveland, OH, which is the main event for the organization during the year. This major activity by the organization promotes opportunities for the education of the public with respect to the culture and the study of vocal and instrumental music and dance and the enjoyment and wholesome utilization thereof. This expense category includes $ 116,010 of artists honorarium for performances during Cleveland festival, $ 4,800 of artists honorarium for performances outside Cleveland and $ 39,332 of training related expenses to artists.

OFFICE EXPENSES: The exempt purpose achievement for this category is the same as explained in the above two categories. Major expenses in this category include auditorium charges ($ 62,607) for the annual music festival in Cleveland, storage costs for all the equipment, paper products and all other items that are used every year during the annual music festival (total of $ 52,045), brochure and other printing charges ($ 8,086) and audio related charges ($ 6,784)

PROGRAM EXPENSES: This expense category includes interest costs on the loan to the organization and other needed miscellaneous maintenance expenses to conduct the annual music festival. The explanation for the program service accomplishment is the same as explained above in other expense categories.
