Programs

1 program

Arc northland provides person-centered programs and services for individuals with disabilities, their families, and other supporters in four distinct areas: adult and family services, pca choice, housing support services and the arrowhead regional quality council. In addition to pca choice, already described in this report, the adult and family services program provides individualized support through advocacy, self-advocacy, education, specialized training, support networks and information and referral. Housing services are supported through funding from department of human services to provide housing stabilization services, housing access services, and relocation service coordination for individuals with disabilities who are eligible. The arrowhead regional quality council works to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities through identified areas of need. Services are provided in the following counties in northeast minnesota: st. Louis, carlton, lake, cook, koochiching, itasca, aitkin, and pine. Arc northland collaborates with county health and human service departments, as well as the state of minnesota and other local service providers, to ensure quality services are provided to those in need of support.
