Mission
We specialize in moms and pups, pups from unwanted litters and dogs from the e list and owner surrender. We participate in the last litter program. We Our Motto is No Mom Left Behind. We always take Mom and sometimes Dad when available. We will spay Mom and return to owner. We are primarily foster based but also have a 2.5 acre Doggie Ranch where we house up to 75 dogs, many are non adoptable due to fear or other behaviors.

E Listed Dogs from MCACC not including Parvo or Pregnant. We rescued 36 Adults dogs from the elist. Expenses include Medications for severe Upper Respiratory, Dr Visits, and orthopedic Surgeries (2). Expenses include waived fees to original foster for 29 dogs.
Pregnant Dogs from MCACC, [24], Owner surrender, [7], and Last Litter, meaning we keep the puppies and vet the mom. She is then returned to owner, [11]. Included are 1 Emergency C sections, Meds for Upper Respiratory, and supplies for Mom and pups. Puppy pens, pools, pads etc.
Transportation: Cost of Vehicles, Maintenance, gas, repairs, etc
Dog Ranch Expenses: Building New enclosures, Building a Block wall, Dog Food, Pest Control, Training, Maintenance of Buildings, Shades, Medicines, Supplies, Tools, Building Materials other than the wall. Also includes 1099 contractors, ranch hands and caregivers
Parvo Puppies: We rescued 54 parvo positive from MCACC plus we had a few of our litters get parvo. We also took parvo Positive puppies from other rescues. Which we treated. Estimated over 100 pups treated for parvo. Supplies include Lactated Ringers for sub q fluids, puppy pads, puppy pens, crates, baby food, Medications, such as Cerenia, Albon, panacur, Antibiotics, and others as prescribed.
Bottle Babies: We take in bottle baby puppies from other rescues, owner surrender, MCACC, . Supplies include Breeders Edge formula, puppy pads, bottles, puppy pens, Fabric carry bags, Incubators aka warming box, medications as prescribed, and welping pads.
Board and Train with Robert Kezer at Canine Country Club, 3 dogs at a time. As these return or get adopted, another dog goes in Board and train. Most of these are returns from Fosters and previous E listed dogs. .
0Dog food: with 300 Plus dogs in rescue at any given time, we spend 5000 a month on Dog and Puppy Food, purchased primarily from Costco. Our food banks have little to no food so we paid retail prices for dog and puppy food.
Pets for Vets: Arf-Anage Dog rescue donates long timer dogs to Veteran and First Responder Organizations, Such as Soldiers Best Friends, Fetch Foundation and K9 Warriors, as well as qualified individual Veterans. These are not necessarily Service dogs when they leave our facility. In 2024, We donated 21 dogs, whose adoption fees would have been 250 each.
