Access i and ii - for the past 20 years, the access program at argus has been recognized as expert in case and care management. Caring staff is available 24 hours a day to assist participants in remaining healthy, independent and connected to quality social, community, and medical services. Access is also a nys health home provider, affiliated with a large group of health and community agencies that have agreed to work together to help people stay healthier and safer in the community. The access network provided services to those challenged and affected by hiv/aids, substance abuse & mental health problems, as well other chronic & persistent illnesses.

Harbor house i & ii - harbor house is a well-regarded and innovative 114-bed intensive residential care model for adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Known for its comprehensive and person-centered care, the program delivers psychiatric services, medication management, counseling, life skills training, and aftercare through an integrated, multidisciplinary team. Its goal is to help residents stabilize, build independence, and successfully reintegrate into the community.

The aru comprehensive outpatient program service (cops) is an integrated opioid treatment and chemical dependency outpatient clinic located in upper manhattan. Serving adult men and women with substance use disorders, cops offers medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and recovery support within a person-centered, evidence-based framework. The program emphasizes culturally competent care and collaborates with community partners to ensure clients receive comprehensive, wraparound support that promotes long-term recovery and wellness.

Expenses: $12.7M

Faith mission: a 36 bed substance abuse crisis center providing group and individual counseling. Also provided are inpatient treatment, medical monitoring detoxification crisis, and referral services as needed.

Striver house: a 60 bed intensive residential treatment facility for men age 18 and over, striver house aims to alleviate homelessness and drug use. An integrated team of medical and substance abuse professionals provide individualized client centered treatment. Residents of striver house develop the life skills needed in order to be discharged back into the community, self-sufficient and functioning.

Prometheus: a comprehensive outpatient mental health services program licensed by the nys office of mental health, prometheus specializes in the treatment of adults with co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependence disorders. The recovery based, psycho-educational treatment model addresses functional and lifestyle issues, promotes a drug-free lifestyle, and provides opportunities for developing a social support system.

Davidson prevention: a youth prevention program licensed by oasas, davidson uses evidenced based practice and structured activities to assist children and adolescents in becoming assets to their communities, rather than liabilities. Activities include alcohol and drug education, prevention and intervention services. Individual, group, and family counseling, homework assistance and supportive services, community services, computer literacy, parenting groups, cultural awareness, and recreation.

Argus career training institute (act i and act ii): the act programs are a welfare-to-work program that trains persons on public assistance to become substance abuse counselors in a field where there is an acute shortage of well-trained personnel. The classroom training includes supervised internships and job placement. The curriculum has been approved by the nys education dept (nysed) and oasas, enabling graduates eligible to take the examination to become certified alcohol and substance abuse counselors (casac).

Unified court system: to provide substance abuse and mental health treatment to the brooklyn treatment court and brooklyn veterans treatment court participants with co-occurring disorders.
