Programs
2 programs
Day Service Option Program - The Agency provided 46 individuals with programs and activities to learn new skills, maintain existing skills, socialize, recreate, and volunteer in the local community in a variety of settings. This program is designed to maximize an individual's ability to live as independently and self-sufficiently as possible. Training is focused on self-care, health & safety, socialization, communication, physical and emotional maturation, cognitive, leisure, and pre-vocational skills. Services are provided to develop valued, non-work related adult roles in the community and are based on individual choice and preference.
Vocational Services - The Agency provided pre-vocational training, job development and placement, and on-the-job training and support for 30 individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Individuals served in the vocational services program all earn wages based on their ability to perform certain tasks and Department of Labor regulations. They may work independently or in a small group.
