Programs
4 programs
Membership Services - This program fosters the enhancement and expansion of the game by educating the general public on the positive benefits of golf environmentally, economically and socially by: providing non-competitive events for both members and non-members, providing a welcome environment that promotes golf as a game for everyone, and promoting affiliations with golf clubs and course facilities for the betterment of golf.
As the USGAs only authorized golf association within Arizona, the Organizations responsibilities include: establishment and oversight of uniform statewide handicap and course rating systems consistent with USGA requirements and procedures; management of USGA Championship qualifiers, education of golfers and clubs on the USGA Rules of Golf and the World Handicap System, oversight of Amateur Status, and community support for other USGA-developed programs.
Stakeholder Relations - Our outreach efforts extend to the many facilities we serve. As part of the Stakeholder Relations Program, we proactively engage with golf facilities to provide expert guidance and practical support in areas such as: Agronomy: Offering insights and resources to help maintain world-class course conditions through sustainable and innovative turf management practices. Operations: Supporting facilities with operational best practices to enhance efficiency, member satisfaction, and overall experience. Partnerships: Facilitating strategic connections between facilities and potential partners, sponsors, and community organizations to create mutually beneficial opportunities.Through this comprehensive approach, the Stakeholder Relations Program strengthens our organizational ecosystem, ensuring that everyonefrom team members to facility partnershas the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive.
Foundation programs - Through this program, deserving Arizona individuals are inducted annually into the Arizona Golf Hall of Fame. The Foundation also assists charitable organizations with fundraising activities and golf events.
