Arkansas Chapter American Academy Of Pediatricics

Pediatric health outreach: araap participates in multiple grant-funded initiatives focused on improving outcomes for children in arkansas through strategies that result in improved pediatric practice. In partnership with other organizations, the organization has primarily focused on the following child- and family-related topics during this tax year: early childhood health and well-being, prevention of child abouse and neglect, food insecurity, adolescent health, childhood vaccinations, infection prevention and control, health care coverage/quality, and trauma-informed care. Araap's pediatrician members are engaged in all of these initiatives through practice transformation, education, outreach, or advocacy.

Member engagement and professional support: araap membership dues facilitate member engagement initiatives, including educational member webinars and meetings, a statewide educational conference, newsletters, media initiatives, and partner collaboration. Araap regularly seeks input from members and partners on child health and practice support topics for member engagement initiatives.
