To promote greater understanding and awareness of the unique nature of arkansas's independent oil and natural gas producer and the market place in which they operate. To highlight economic contributions, foster efficient utilization of resources, promote a balanced approach to resource development and environmental protection and improve business conditions for its membership.

Established a reward program as an incentive to aid members to deter vandalism, theft and other property damage.
To promote the common goals of protecting the co-equal and correlative rights of producers and owners so that each may timely recover his or her just and equitable share of production revenues, and of protecting themselves from legislative and regulatory threats to their existence.
