To have monthly luncheons and meetings which 1) preserve and foster the spirit of fellowship among former, present and future personnel of the military, industries, civic organizations and governments, 2) promote efficiency and cooperation through better liaison among industry, military, civil organizations and civilian government, 3) maintain close relations among civilian scientists, engineers, manufacturers, operating companies and others in the aforementioned fields, and 4) familiarize the chapter membership with national security operational requirements and technological advances available to meet those requirements.

To encourage interest, study, and careers in the scientific and engineering disciplines or other career fields which benefit the department of defense by providing scholarships, awards, and tuition assistance to a variety of local individuals and educational organizations.
