AROSE's mission is to bridge the opportunity gap for underserved Black and Brown youth in trauma-prone communities through post-secondary scholarships, support services, and community outreach initiatives. AROSE Scholars is our signature program. AROSE Scholars is a scholarship and student success program for underserved Black and Brown high school graduates located across Chicago and Flint. Our program was created to provide financial, social, and emotional support to students throughout their post-secondary years. AROSE Scholars become a part of a community of like-minded, resilient students who are committed to tenaciously continuing their education and becoming the next generation of leaders. Our students are paired with a success coach committed to helping students navigate through their real-time school experiences and utilize action planning to ensure they achieve their academic goals. We help our students develop and grow through tailored leadership and personal development wor
