Arrive Ministries

Community outreach: arrive ministries mobilized 400 volunteers to provide friendship and practical support to their refugee and immigrant neighbors in the twin cities, willmar, st. Cloud, and rochester. Volunteer opportunities included english and technology tutors, sewing teachers, apartment set-up, homework helpers, transportation, and interpretation. 37 good neighbor volunteer teams also formed. The organization also engaged more than 1,000 community members through events including summer picnics, prayer and advocacy events, and volunteer dinners.

Ongoing services: the organization provided low-cost or free immigration legal services to 522 clients, which included assistance with work authorization, green card, citizenship, and special support services for ukrainians. Through employment services, 93 clients were assisted to secure initial job placements, while 8 secured job upgrades. Education programs served 238 clients through english and technology classes and through community workshops, newly launched to orient clients on systems and other essential topics for life in the u.s., including job readiness, citizenship preparation, healthcare, and safety.
