The organization commissioned a long-term project with american artist, roni horn, in 2007 for a small town on the coast of iceland. What was once a library of books is now the library of water, a series of collections gathered by roni horn and her collaborators in iceland. The project is open to visitors during the summer months and is used by the local community throughout the year for various purposes including meetings, concerts, chess clubs and yoga classes. The studio in the basement which once stored books is now used for a writer's residency for three months each summer.
