Subgranting Program that provides funds to local qualifying organizations for use in providing art programs in the Midland area. Subgrants are dispersed through this systematic and coordinated application process to organizations that range in size and length or existence that request funds for stimulating new activities, out of the ordinary projects, and laudable programming.

Other programs Other programs include the Sculpture Garden on the grounds of the Arts Council offices, which includes several sculptures with plans of expanding, a quarterly visual art series that showcases various area fine artists and an artist community market which features local and regional visual and performing artists. Other program services include ACM classes offered twice weekly in the mornings, and evenings weekly throughout the year. Classes include watercolori painting, drawing and design, pottery and clayworking. .
