Arundel Instrumental Music Association Inc

Supported 304 students at Arundel high school participating in choir, guitar, piano, music technology, orchestra, concert band and jazz band. Provided instruments, prepared instruments, provided instrumental supplies and supported multiple concerts throughout the year. Produced a winter rock concert for the community and several music festivals including middle school and elementary school students playing or singing alongside high school musicians. Supported students as they participated in all-county and solo and ensemble festival performances. Supported musicians as they participated in musical theater performances for the community. Our goal is to increase connections within the school and surrounding local community post-pandemic by continuing to support music programs as they recover from reduced enrollment at all grade levels within the Arundel school district.

Supported 118 high school students as they traveled to compete and be assessed in a national competition. Facilitated transportation, meals and registration for the trip. Our goal is to provide all high school music students in our community the instruction, tools and opportunity to participate in competition at a high level.

Provided volunteer and administrative support to high school students and staff by organizing and operating fundraisers. Provided administrative support to high school music directors by entering and managing student payments, uniform orders, event ticketing and travel to competitions. Supported student performers both in music classes and in clubs. Provided administrative support and ticket sales for the high school theater department for a spring musical. Collected donations and distributed them to guitar, chorus, orchestra, concert band, jazz band and marching band. Used donated funds to purchase supplies and sound equipment used by all students in the music and theater program.
