Mission
A's & Aces mission is to provide academic assistance, life skills, and tennis to New Orleans public school children. Our organizational goals are to better prepare students to succeed academically, physically, and socially/emotionally in school and for a lifetime beyond. We seek to narrow the "opportunity gap" by creating more accessible, equitable, and socially just opportunities on and off the tennis court.

Excellence Teams Program & Tournament Training (Pathway to Success program) - afterschool, weekend, and holiday break programming. - tennis instruction (small groups and individual instruction). - academic support and tutoring (in-person, mostly one-on-one sessions); special trip to ATA National Championship in Orlando; Leadership Camp for 8 participants in New Orleans (A's & Aces hosted this event in partnership with the STA); USTA NJTL National Essay Contest and LTA NJTL Art Contest (50+ participants).
Tournaments and special events (including team challenges, playdays, special clinics, sanctioned/un-sanctioned USTA events, team competitions, career development program, etc.). In-school programming at public schools.
