Ashe County Arts Council

Throughout our 2023-2024 fiscal year, we hosted myriad programs and events at our secondary facility the ashe civic center. During that time, we welcomed children to engage with the performing arts through our jam educational classes and our missoula childrens theatre residency. We partnered with the ashe county little theatre to host performances and rehearsals of a christmas carol, fiddler on the roof, and chairmen of the board. We held concerts, workshops, and meetings with musicians including, but not limited to the kruger brothers , the tannahill weavers, ralph stanley, wayne henderson, della mae, and the allen boys. Additionally, we worked with the chamber of commerce to host the blue ridge brutal bicycle race - a tourist draw to our rural region - at the civic center.
