In its 2023-2024 season, the ASO presented thirteen Masterworks concerts, two Pops concerts, two recitals, a free community engagement concert called Symphony in the Park, a five-concert ALT ASO chamber orchestra series, and founded a new, week-long Artist Residency program starring internationally-acclaimed talent and nearly a dozen associated events.

ASO also operates many core music education programs, including the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra, an adult education program named Symphony Talk, its Music in the Schools educational programs for every 2nd, 3rd and 4th grader in City and County public schools, Young Peoples Concert programs for every 5th grader in City and County public schools, and its Hip Hop Folktale Project digital curriculum. In addition, The Asheville Symphony Chorus, Symphony Guild, and Symphonettes all offered their own programs throughout the season.
