Mission
Ashley house provides comprehensive, cost effective, quality care to medically fragile children and young adults in a home-like setting.
Programs
3 programs
Ashley house young adult residential group home accepts up to 6 young adults (18-30 years old) with medical complexity to live in a home-like setting (short or long term). These medically fragile young adults are often individuals with complicated medical histories, such as organ transplantation, ventilator dependency or traumatic brain injury and experience lengthy hospitalizations, need specialized caregiver training, and have equipment or nursing needs that may exceed what can be provided in their family homes.
In 2024, ashley house opened bridges to home, washington state's first pediatric skilled nursing facility designed to serve medically complex children, teens, and young adults in a home-like setting. The 15-bed facility provides 24/7 skilled nursing care, care coordination, and caregiver support to clients transitioning from hospital to home. In its first year of operation, bridges to home served 8 clients, helping reduce long-term hospital stays and improve outcomes for medically fragile youth.
In july 2024, ashley house acquired children's country home, a pediatric skilled nursing facility located in woodinville, wa. This strategic acquisition expanded our capacity by 8 beds, allowing us to serve additional medically fragile children and young adults in need of long-term skilled nursing care. The integration of this site into our continuum of care strengthens our mission to support medically complex clients and their families across western washington.
