The organization's purpose is fulfilled by collecting information on contemporary asian art and making it publicly accessible, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas, supporting research and writing in the field, and instigating dialogue and critical thinking to develop a broader audience for and a deeper understanding of visual art by artists in asia or by artists of asian descent.
