Nhpi initiative - our native hawaiian and pacific islander (nhpi) initiative builds off of aaf's existing relationships and grantmaking within nhpi communities to grow and strengthen nhpi nonprofit leadership by building nhpi community and narrative power.

Gold futures challenge - the gold futures challenge is an online model for democratizing philanthropy that drives resources to asian american and pacific islander (aapi) nonprofits and increases their visibility, with the aspiration to build unity among aapis and communities of color across the country.

Narrative lab - aaf's narrative lab advances aspirational narratives such as solidarity, pride and belonging to create a future where all aapis can thrive. We partner with grassroots organizations and launch our own campaigns to experiment with evidenced-backed programming that shifts people's mindsets at scale. We share insights with the field to help them activate a larger share of the aapi population in the united states.
