The company was initiated by henan immigrants currently living in the us. Memerbers include henan natives, the second and third generations from both sides of the taiwan strait, and henanese from hong kong. Ther purpose of the association is to actively help new and old immigrants to quickly integrate into the mainstream society of the us, to strengthen mutual understanding between various groups of overseas chinese inth us and to provide communication, recreation, career services and development opportunities for community residents and newcomers.
